Does the quality of the job depend on who does it (for instance Solms vs others)? I would personally not have thought so since the operation seems fairly straightforward (installing a condenser lens). cheers philip I find it almost worse? I dont know maybe something happened in shipping but it's hard to see any improvement for the cost. Maybe i got a dud. Either way I will be sending it back to youxin when I return from overseas. Incidentally, I do a lot of low-light shooting and, although the M6 has now been "retired" in favour of my MPs, I never experienced flare or contrast issues with it post-upgrade.
