Hi,

as promised, the Wotancraft people send me the new MKII insert as soon as they had it ready.

It is a very well made insert, waterproof (thermo sealed), and quite shockproof. Actually, because it incorporates a waterproof zipper, it is a bag in itself. Therefore it can be carried in whatever you like. I do put mine inside a Billingham Hadley Pro, where it fits snuggly.

The interior can be arranged as usual, with velcro attached walls. These walls have in their interior some sort of sheet that give them a very nice stability, so that it is possible to put the M9 horizontally on the top of the two of them that are so to say hinged.

The solidity is first class, but at the same time it is a lightweight item.

Tomorrow I will post some pictures of it.

Regards,

Manolo

Do you know it it will fit inside the AA Oscars One day Bag?

Size: (outer) 300mm long x 200mm tall x 100mm wide

(inner) 270mm long x 160mm tall x 90mm wide

This insert measures on the outside 32,5 cm long x 11,5 cm wide x 22,5 tall,

and the Hadley Pro's inside measures 34 cm long x 8 cm wide x 23 cm tall.

This discrepancy of 3,5 cm in wideness (the insert is bigger than the bag's interior) is in practice of no importance. As you can see from my pictures the insert fits very well into the Hadley Pro.

Regarding your question, it's a pity that this insert doesn't fit inside the bag you mention, the ACAM-7100, because I do have that AA bag as well.

But there are lots of messenger bags and backpacks that have the right dimensions. Because the insert is really waterproof and solid, but at the same time soft, it doesn't matter how the "outer shell" is.
