Advertisement Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Hi Keith (M), Take a look here Binh Danh presents a new series of daguerreotypes at Haines Gallery in San Francisco. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
CalArts 99 Posted August 27, 2012 Share #2 Posted August 27, 2012 Binh Danh is an interesting artist (and person.) He has a unique interest in his own cultural history (combined with issues of politics and death and war) along with a talent for using all sorts of materials, especially organic ones coexisting with found objects. His projects kind of reminds me of Christian Boltanski's work. This new project seems to be a bit of a detour for him. I'll look forward to hear more about it.
