Advertisement Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Hi Guest agnoo, Take a look here Adler Bike (rs). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lambroving Posted July 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2006 Nice one! But..., I think you need to borrow the 50 ASPH next week if you are going to continue to take good shots like these...
Guest agnoo Posted July 20, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2006 First i need a caddy for all this stuff you recommend
lambroving Posted July 20, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 20, 2006 No you don't. YOU are MY caddy! Don't worry, I'll manage. M lenses don't weigh much.
Guest agnoo Posted July 20, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 20, 2006 Remember the other stuff and the tiny car we have. And there´s still a Visoflex with the TE-135 head for the long-distance-shots in cornwall and the flower-shots in my brain. btw. my posted images from this morning could be a bit lighter - on my Desktop they looked fine, but this is lighter adjusted for some job-reasons. On my Powerbook these shots are a bit dark - sorry for that - the slides themself are fine.
lambroving Posted July 20, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 20, 2006 And you think I'M crazy! Don't worry, the camera bags will fit behind the seats with our Barbour jackets. The REST goes on the luggage rack, (he says with fingers crossed)... on top of the folded hood and tonneau and side screens... Of course, if it rains... andybarton Posted July 20, 2006 Share #7 Posted July 20, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'd have prefered a little more depth of field on this shot - with the logo in focus, but it does show a very good tonal range. -------------------- William Watch the coverage of the golf if you want to see what sort of weather we are having... A Barbour jacket is definitely not what you need... 28 degrees and heavy rain and electric storms during the night last night. A Barbour will be really uncomfortable. I'd just wear clothes that dry quickly
imported_peter_m Posted July 20, 2006 Share #8 Posted July 20, 2006 Nice bike and nicely captured. I sure wouldn't mind if it would be sitting in my garage Peter
davephoto Posted July 20, 2006 Share #9 Posted July 20, 2006 well captured. may i ask what scanner you used?
andybarton Posted July 20, 2006 Share #10 Posted July 20, 2006 William Remind me again who the little guy is.. I can see you and Ron in the shot (which has arrived via the magic of a temporal shift...), but don't recognise the one in the middle... LOL! Have a great vacation! Welcome, dear visitor! Guest agnoo Posted July 20, 2006 Share #11 Posted July 20, 2006 well captured. may i ask what scanner you used? Dave, an old Nikon Coolscan IV.
Guest agnoo Posted July 20, 2006 Share #12 Posted July 20, 2006 I'd have prefered a little more depth of field on this shot - with the logo in focus, but it does show a very good tonal range. Andy, you are right. I wanted a small DOF, but wasn´t aware, that it does not range from the numberplate to the Adler-logo (Leica M;) ).
Guest agnoo Posted July 20, 2006 Share #13 Posted July 20, 2006 You don´t have this problem with a Minox (I made one shot with Leica M, one with IIIa/Summar and one with Minox Welcome, dear visitor! andybarton Posted July 20, 2006 Share #14 Posted July 20, 2006 I'm with you on that one, Ron. I've never been able to work out those depth of field indicator things in an M viewfinder either

lambroving Posted July 20, 2006 Share #16 Posted July 20, 2006 Andy, Agreed. That was the reason I suggested he take the 50 ASPH which is a lens he's used to good effect before. Ron thinks he can use the 75/2 for ALL detail shots, but the DOF is really shallow. What an antique you posted! You sure it isn't a four-seater? Only had a yellow one once and admit it was a babe-magnet. Suspect Ron would like THAT! Rest assured, whatever we get this time, it will be wrong. Klaus was right. Ron is a snob...http://www.leica-camera-user.com/sports-leisure-time/19-blue-one.html
