Manashu Posted August 15, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted August 15, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) It seems that the battery for x2 is identical to the x1 = 3,7 v 1600mAh 6.0 Wh ? The copy Leica-battery is about 6 times cheaper than the original. Do you have experience on the usage with the copy and would you like to share it with a newcomer. Thanks in advance! Spaniard69 Posted August 15, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted August 15, 2012 So far I've not try the copy one. Using the original battery as I presume the copy one can't hold charge after prolong usage.

you have paid approx 2000usd for a quality photographic instrument- do you want to chance it and your images with a cheap battery of unknown quality???  I have a charred desk because a knock off battery got too hot charging--  think of it as a cheap insurance policy for an expensive camera

You pay that much for something don't skimp on the accessory or maintenance side of it. You'll be happier in the long run :-)  Take care Bill
