erlingmm Posted August 15, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted August 15, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I tried to order another Walter RX eyepiece yesterday, but got the following reply today: Â "Hello, Â With regard to your purchase of the Walter RX eyepiece. Â I am afraid that due to production problems we are not able to supply the item you have purchased. Â Our production has stopped indefinitely. The moment there is any change, I will contact you again and if you still wish to order we can then proceed. Â I do apologise for the unforeseen problems occurred and any possibly inconvenience this may have caused you. Â I have credited the funds back into your paypal (or credit card) account and the funds should reflect immediately or if a credit card was used, then within a few days. Â Again, my humble apologies. Best regards, Jean-Louis Beek" Â This is really a pity, I loved it, and it really solved my focusing challenges due to astigmatism. Does anybody know more what has happened? walterleica Posted August 15, 2012 Share #3  Posted August 15, 2012 Hi to my Leica family!  The Walter Eyepiece is still in production - now more than ever! I am still the original inventor and manufacturer of the WALTER Eyepiece.  I just went solo and started my own website: Walter Leica M-Stedi  Good news: As I do not have to share the costs, I managed to make the Eyepiece more affordable, cutting the price with $100.  I would also like to take this opportunity to launch my latest invention - the WALTER mStedi. This ingenious device improves the grip, providing better stability, resulting in better quality Leica pictures.  Happy shooting! WALTER:)
