Â Although my area is not regularly as hot and humid as Malaysia, I do try to keep one room of the house at low humidity, and store the wooden cameras and rarely used gear in it. Maybe search for that thread. You can use some models for transport as well as a dry storage area. I also use silica to get out humidity and then you just heat them up and reuse.
