girphoto Posted March 11, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted March 11, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) As in my last post, I said that I would use the Nokton 50 f1.5 during various shoots other than Kennedy Space Center and report back. Well, I must say that anyone looking for a 50mm, could save and save and save by buying the cv 50mm f 1.5. It is sharp from edge to edge even at 1.5 (see last image shot at night). Here are images shot at Gulfstream race track about a week ago with the Nokton 50 and just croped to size for screen display. What a value!!!! This camera is still from the original batch that came intto the US and has not yet gone back for updating. This is also not just showing images, but helping others who might want to get a solid 50mm f1.5 and would like to look at images first. Gary Gary I. Guest licht Posted March 11, 2007 Share #2  Posted March 11, 2007 I like the color, sharpness, action and framing in the pictures, but why don´t you post them in the photoforum???
girphoto Posted March 11, 2007 Author Share #3  Posted March 11, 2007 I like the color, sharpness, action and framing in the pictures, but why don´t you post them in the photoforum???  These are not just images to post images, but with all that is being said about the M 8 and its problems I thought it would be a good test of the M 8 with a non-Leica lense (and yes, I do own leica lenses). This should give the reader looking for a fast 50mm (as I was a few weeks back) a chance to see what the lense can do.  By the way, thanks for the nice comments on the images! Gary Gary I.
