Willy Fog Posted July 23, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 23, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, After I bought a camera with meter problems, I've been looking for other M6TTL. Found one, my father bought in Spain. With all the documents, in perfect condition, with 4 batteries and half case, the camera is from 2001, in total 1,1k€. The day after tomorrow I'll have it in my hands. Let's see if everything will be ok with the camera. Regards

jerryharwood Posted July 23, 2012 Share #5 Posted July 23, 2012 hi, I bought a mint M6 ttl; but it really used to gobble batteries, so much so that I sent it in to Malcolm Taylor in Herefordshire for a check up. Apparently the these models suffer from dust ingestion, so much so, that the dust builds up inside, and causes a short- hence batteries last no more than a week. he said that there was so much dust in my camera that it required a really good clean- there was nothing else wrong with it at all; after his ministrations, it has worked perfectly; average battery life is now 18 months !
