Warranty card without stamps

Hello,

I have a question (as usual:D)

I show many cameras in internet that have the warranty card/book without stamp or names. Usually that means that the camera is from the grey market? I guess when the camera is already 10 years old is not important, right?

I collect watches, and sometimes if you sell a watch with the warranty card without stamps and name, the price will be a little bit more high. I don't know if with Leica cameras is the same.

Regards

Hi, there are online only Leica resellers here in Sweden. They never write anything in the warranty cards, I asked them but they said it's the receipt that counts. They wont write or stamp the Leica warranty card, even if I send it to them. It's the EU online shopping regulation.

Stamped warranty cards are not important on 10 year old cameras. If you have a newish camera, still in warranty, you still need to show a receipt to get warranty service.

Don't worry about it.
