StS Posted July 6, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Since news about market trends for film always generate some interest here, I would like to share this German article by a local newspaper: Analoge Fotografie - Die neue Lust auf das Fotografieren wie früher - Hamburg - Hamburger Abendblatt Summing up, they are citing Kodak Germany, that the demand for professional films would have increased by 20% (no reference years given). The Kodak spokesman sees artists and younger people as the main groups behind this demdand. A (smaller) lab in Hamburg says they developed 18% more negatives in 2011, compared to 2010. Hoping for a civilized discussion Stefan

Hoping for a civilized discussion Stefan That's good news for we film users. Regarding a civilized discussion on this topic, Kodak probably has a better chance of a return to its former glory.
