hanuman Posted March 9, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 9, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) A while ago I sought some advice regarding my first steps with Leica M. I have meanwhile purchased an MP and exposed my first rolls of B&W film. Looking back, I could not be happier and I just wanted to thank you all for your contributions, be it directly or indirectly ... Karim

abrewer Posted March 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted March 9, 2007 Well done Karim. Keep up the good work! Put some of your work up in the Photo Forum, in the appropriate category, when you can. The world can't have enough film-shooters, friend! Thanks. Allan
Guest Bernd Banken Posted March 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted March 9, 2007 great shot, Karim. I'll guess we will see more.... In Dec. 2006 the first M came in my bag and films in the fridge. Same feeling for me as in the past. Not the fast food of digital, it's the fresh smell of untreated fruits:D Bernd

rob_x2004 Posted March 11, 2007 Share #5 Posted March 11, 2007 It is a cool piece of gear and it gets you into the swing of being aware of what and how you make your images. I dont miss aperture priority at all. Have fun with the thing:) .
hanuman Posted March 16, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted March 16, 2007 Thank you guys, for the encouraging words! I have to admit that I absolutely love this MP and can't await to start processing b&w film myself. It will probably take a while though, since I haven't figured out what'd be needed and where to get it here in India ... Karim
