JOM51 Posted June 28, 2012 Share #6 Posted June 28, 2012 maybe iso ?i don't know. because I learn that normally manual focus is useless on x2 I disagree, manual focus using hyper focal is fine. You just need to know what you are doing. It is not useless.
stark60 Posted June 28, 2012 Share #7 Posted June 28, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I agree with you JOM51. I noticed that at f2.8 you reach hyperfocal turning the wheel at maximum to the right then 7 “steps” to the left. (There are a total of 121 steps for setting focus distance). bluebear Posted June 28, 2012 Share #8 Posted June 28, 2012 I disagree, manual focus using hyper focal is fine. You just need to know what you are doing. It is not useless. I couldn't agree more! And the AF on the X1, whilst a bit slow, is very, very accurate, at least on my example, which means that I only need to use manual focus every now and then.
