j_w_davies Posted June 27, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 27, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) My Digilux 2 developed the sensor problem a number of years ago, and was the sensor was duly replaced. Now the replaced sensor seems to be playing up. In the photograph below note the line at the bottom of the photograph (please ignore the quality of the photo) Is this likely to be reoccurrence of the sensor problem, or some random electronic malfunction? ramus_ltu Posted June 28, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 28, 2012 Try a different SD card - sometimes SD cards make similar malfunctions.
j_w_davies Posted June 28, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted June 28, 2012 Thanks. Took photographs with original card, problem was replicated. Formatted card, no sign of the problem. Switched to a different card, no sign of problem. Hopefully, this will be the solution. The line was only present in the RAW file, not the jpeg. wda Posted June 28, 2012 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2012 Good. But for information, the original sensor problem gave a very different result. In my case, no picture; just a coloured haze. The camera was unusable until repaired.
