Advertisement Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Hi HeinzX, Take a look here Isn´t a beauty (orchids at the window). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leicamann Posted June 17, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 17, 2012 Well seen Heinz, it looks like the focus is s bit soft and the also because of the intensity of the light, the sensor will always exaggerate the saturation, causing a ballooning of the colour and a loss of detail. Thanks for sharing a special moment in your day. Cheers, JRM
HeinzX Posted June 17, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted June 17, 2012 Hello JRM, thank you for your posting. This picture is tonemapped and afterwards processed with Define which contributes a bit to the impression of softness. The following picture is a photograph made with same lens and not tonemapped and not processed with Define. In my opinion it looks a little bit sharper. It´s a matter of personal preference, what to prefer:
leicamann Posted June 17, 2012 Share #4 Posted June 17, 2012 Yeah wow... well I just use Photoshop CS6 and Camera RAW 7.2..that way I don't destroy the image I have never heard of these software suites before. Thanks again..it does look much better, just shows what can happen. Cheers, JRM
