sfowler Posted June 13, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted June 13, 2012 I am actually waiting on a reply from Luigi - he will have a X2 by fray and will inform me if the Luigi case for the X1 will work for the X2. If it does - then I am purchasing one with a grip on it . I just want to be sure that the Leica View Finder will plug in - if not he will have to make an adjustment to his case for the EVF to be plugged in with no leather in the way. chaimemet Posted June 13, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted June 13, 2012 I worked the X2 today with the Leica half case and EVF and then changed over to the handgrip, EVF no half case. I like the handgrip but the half case is fine too even w/o a grip. My hands resemble monkey/gorilla thick and medium length fingers. The handgrip also gives a level of protection especially to the bottom plate. I will trade-in the thumb grip I had with the X1 it would only work w/o the EVF. Today I realized I want the EVF on permanently, I shot inside and out and it added a level of confidence. I also realized I really hate the LCD except for review. Its a wrong way to frame pushing your hands out. I also used the EVF periscope aspect. Anyway I find it usefull to use both the EVF and LCD. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
