andybarton Posted June 8, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 8, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Anyone any experience of this outfit? They are recommended by Mathers of Bolton and in keeping with my "buy local" policy, I thought I might try them for E6 120 film on my return from leave. Bill Allsopp Posted June 8, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2012 No experience but I should be interested if they are good.
andybarton Posted June 8, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted June 8, 2012 I might run through a 35mm E6 film over the weekend and try them out before commiting a load of rolls.
nick.edwards1 Posted June 11, 2012 Share #4 Posted June 11, 2012 Hello Andy, I would appreciate any comments you have after trying this Lab. I have a few rolls ready to develop and they are local to me. Best regards, Nick.
andybarton Posted June 11, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted June 11, 2012 I'm posting off a roll of slides tomorrow
cocker Posted June 11, 2012 Share #6 Posted June 11, 2012 I will be interested to see how they do Andy. The price looks reasonable and I'm happy to give them a try when I next want some colour stuff doing. The connection with Mather's and the Real Camera Co. bodes well. andybarton Posted June 12, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted June 12, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just checking his site, he has just had a holiday and returns to work tomorrow. He's a one-man-band and could therefore have a lot to catch up on. I might leave it a while, to avoid ending up at the end of a long queue. However, I'm hoping to have a lot of 120 to do in the next few weeks, so a test roll with him would be good.
andybarton Posted June 20, 2012 Author Share #8 Posted June 20, 2012 I bit the bullet and sent a roll of E100G to him and it was returned today. Turn round just a couple of days after paying the PayPal invoice. Sleeved in clear Kenro and sent in one of those brown envelopes with thick card on open side, the quality of the processing is absolutely fine. Will send my 120s to him next month.
