stickan1 Posted June 5, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted June 5, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) The weather was awful this weekend, rain and 4-5 degrees Celsius. I took a short walk on sunday when the rain was lighter. Here are two different attempts to capture the mood from that day. Biogon 35/2, the first is wide open uncropped, the second is at f4,0 and cropped. I think I prefer the first although it is not technically perfect. leicamann Posted June 5, 2012 Share #2  Posted June 5, 2012 Interesting.. I didn't know there were maple trees in Sweden, are they native species?  Thanks for posting  Cheers, JRM
stickan1 Posted June 5, 2012 Author Share #3  Posted June 5, 2012 Maples are growing naturally here although not very common. I live in Gävle, 60 degrees Norh, but we are close to its northern limit. The species is Acer platanoides!
Iduna Posted June 5, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted June 5, 2012 Stig, Â the weather seemed to have been awful all over Europe, so you did right in taking that walk with so nice results. The first one keeps the viewer at distance which is better under the aspect of atmosphere. The second one could be more close if it is meant to be a portrait of the twigs heavy with raindrops. Show us more of rainy Sweden if you have. Thanks
pauledell Posted June 5, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted June 5, 2012 Stig, Â An excellent job capturing the mood and atmosphere, I like the second for its composition, colors and sharpness. A lovely shot. Â Paul
