Magnum Image Posted June 6, 2012 Author Share #22 Â Posted June 6, 2012 Fortunately, I am an experienced economist with many years experience from forecasting macroeconomics, asset prices etc. This should be a cakewalk, with only three assets and hardly any substitutes. So, lets see... The M9.. and the M8.. ahm.. and the M.. 10. Yes, yes... So. Ermm.. USD or EUR? hm.. let's... hm. I'll be back. Â That made me chuckle, thanks;)
RobertJRB Posted June 6, 2012 Share #23 Â Posted June 6, 2012 I can't imagine it being higher than 2K Euros unless the M10 fails to be CMOS. Â And you really believe so? A camera that sells now as it is for 6000 euro would be almost worthless when there is another one with CMOS? Do you own a M9?
upsidedownandbackwards Posted June 9, 2012 Share #24 Â Posted June 9, 2012 My guess is that (if the rumours are true) the M9P will increase, probably just by a couple of hundred dollars and will settle around 6-6.5K USD a year or so down the road. Â It seems like the M10 may be a bit of a departure from normal, both in terms of the technology used (EVF, live view, video?) and in price (north of 8k?), which will increase demand for the M9 at least until people come to terms with the new camera. Hosermage Posted June 9, 2012 Share #25 Â Posted June 9, 2012 I'd say around $4000 USD. One thing is for sure, though, people will be screaming murder about the price of M10
