eronald Posted March 7, 2007 Author Share #3  Posted March 7, 2007 Any significant difference with the profile that you made for 1.091 ??? Thanks,  I think as a profile the 1.092 is *significantly better* than the 1.091 beta profile I made. The new profile appears slightly undersaturated to me but the hues are decent.  As we all know profile making is a black art - sometimes you get better results than at other times. My preliminary impression is that this profile is a success.  I leave it up to the photographers on the forum to tell me if they like the new colors.  Request the new profile from me directly, per email:  edmundronald at gmail dot com  Edmund

eronald Posted March 7, 2007 Author Share #8  Posted March 7, 2007 You just maybe right on the money here , this girl is a real white skin  Guy,  Glad you like it. Let us know how it goes -  I really like that lighting of yours. My profile shows color in the shadow tones (eg. hair shadows) which is rare.  Let me remind others that this profile is specific to 1.092 and (maybe 1.091) DNG files, although it may have its uses for previous photos.  Edmund
eronald Posted March 7, 2007 Author Share #9 Â Posted March 7, 2007 Guy, are you using a midtone correction there, or is it a straight conversion ? Â Edmund
Guest guy_mancuso Posted March 7, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted March 7, 2007 Edmund just thought of something these are 1.091. May have to shoot something and it was a straight conversion

Guest guy_mancuso Posted March 7, 2007 Share #12 Â Posted March 7, 2007 Yes just a little on the red side but this is 1.091 and i think they may have tweaked the color from 91 to 92 but can't be sure
eronald Posted March 7, 2007 Author Share #13  Posted March 7, 2007 Yes just a little on the red side but this is 1.091 and i think they may have tweaked the color from 91 to 92 but can't be sure  Please check. These don't apply to 1.091 necessarily.  Edmund

harmsr Posted March 8, 2007 Share #16 Â Posted March 8, 2007 Hi Edmund, Â I'm off to PMA today. Vegas & PMA will be the first real work out of the M8 with 1.092 for me. Give me until Sunday, to get a good sampling of shots and get some processing done. Â First look at your profile, seems very promising. Guest guy_mancuso Posted March 8, 2007 Share #17  Posted March 8, 2007 Guy, May I ask what kind of lens have you used for your portraits?  Theo  75mm Lux at 6.7 was my aperture
eronald Posted March 8, 2007 Author Share #18  Posted March 8, 2007 75mm Lux at 6.7 was my aperture  I expect the 75 Lux will get a soon. Aspheric ? I like this lens, the out of focus look is very nice, but it could do with a touch more crispness at the focus point.  Edmund
wparsonsgisnet Posted March 9, 2007 Share #19  Posted March 9, 2007 Edmund, sorry for the delay; I didn't get to do any pix last nite. I still don't have any skin.  Here is a lemon from the living room. The lemon is blown out, but the leaves are ok, and the colors are good.  I lowered the curve at the top and raised it at the bottom, slightly, to help the over exposure.  M8, 75 'lux (since everyone is on a roll with this lens), iso 1250, f2.8, about 1/90, 486 filter, one of those new flourescent light bulbs is the illumination from the front. The colors are good, just the same. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! You know my email adress, just post the file to YouSendIt - File Sharing Transfer Delivery - PC FTP Replacement and have it send me the link.  Edmund
