I love your attitude!! Your absolutely correct!! :)

Been playing with my new X2 (thanks, David!) for a few hours. Very impressed. And just in time: I can put it through its typical paces--accompanying me on work trips for which I do not bring my M9.

I played with an X1 quite a bit when they came out but didn't feel like it came together as well as it could have. Was tempted again when the new firmware came out but thought I'd wait until the X2.

Frankly, I don't think it matters if you get an x2 or an x100 or an OM-D. The IQ of all of these cameras is good enough for my purposes. I got the X2 because I like Leica products and the way their cameras shape my approach to photography, because I didn't want another "system" camera, and because I wanted something small and simple. I appreciate the authors and their reviews quite a bit, but all the huffing and puffing in the blog comments about what camera is better and how people are stupid for choosing one over another just seems like a bunch of insecure people who need to get out and take some photos and maybe in the process get a life.

For the record, the photos from Ming Thein sealed the deal for me. I don't care about 100% crops or noise at high ISOs (I do shoot an M9, after all). Others care about that stuff and that's fine.

Anyway, off to shoot some more pics. :D
