Are you using some kind of gaussian blur overlay in PS, or is that some kind of Leica glow which just looks like a gaussian blur overlay? Â Whatever it is, that effect is turned up to 11 in your shots. It's a useful technique for softening up or smoothing out an image and increasing contrast but a little more moderation would benefit the collection significantly, IMHO. mikelc Posted March 6, 2007 Author Share #4 Â Posted March 6, 2007 it's actually both...these files have a 'creamy' -for a lack of a better descriptive word almost etheral look to them which i love...and yes i do lots of work in PS including using softening and sharpening filters not to correct photos but to creat a fine art look i'm striving for....thanks for taking the time to view my work...
