the M8 after only about 50 shots or so goes with me to Greece...it performed flawlessly along with the 35mm 2.0 (can't keep the hood from poping off the lens everytime you just tap it..anyone else having this problem with this lens hood?....anyway you can see the M8's Greek adventure here

Images are nice. Are you using some kind of gaussian blur overlay in PS, or is that some kind of Leica glow which just looks like a gaussian blur overlay? :)

Whatever it is, that effect is turned up to 11 in your shots. It's a useful technique for softening up or smoothing out an image and increasing contrast but a little more moderation would benefit the collection significantly, IMHO.

Glad you and your M8 had a nice trip, though!

it's actually both...these files have a 'creamy' -for a lack of a better descriptive word almost etheral look to them which i love...and yes i do lots of work in PS including using softening and sharpening filters not to correct photos but to creat a fine art look i'm striving for....thanks for taking the time to view my work...

...thanks Guy
