40mm f/2 Posted May 12, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 12, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Leica's new interchangeable lens camera system unlikely to be introduced in 2012 - British Journal of Photography I hoped that Leica will produce my visoflex replacement. I guess I need to consider a NEX-7 for my Macro-Elmar (and a Sigma 30mm E).
Advertisement Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Hi 40mm f/2, Take a look here no evil at Photokina?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sdai Posted May 12, 2012 Share #2 Posted May 12, 2012 It has been made crystal clear IMO. Dr. Kaufmann says the "project" has NO timeframe, you should come to see what they HAVE. Herr Schopf hinted that they're probably working on some compact lenses to fit the M body. I guess Kina '12 should bring a M10 along with several fancy lenses ... perhaps there'll be another 35 cron commanding 8000 dollars. :-)

IkarusJohn Posted May 13, 2012 Share #4 Posted May 13, 2012 Looks like I'll remain happy with my NEX-5n. This seems a shame, and Dr Kaufman's promises of exciting things on 17 September leave me pretty lukewarm, I'd have to say. Maybe a B&W X2 ... Somehow, I've lost interest in what Leica are doing. I have all the lenses and cameras I need. Cheers John
andyedward Posted May 13, 2012 Share #5 Posted May 13, 2012 Perhaps sony will produce a FF Nex in the following 12-18 months?
k-hawinkler Posted May 13, 2012 Share #6 Posted May 13, 2012 +1. I would buy that camera if the price stays reasonable.
