amnesiac Posted May 11, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 11, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, just got an M8 about two weeks ago and I love it so far shooting with my 28mm elmarit. However, I have two older lenses and M bayonet adapters on the way for a 50mm Summar and 50mm Summitar. I'm looking at the coding database from Leica M Lens Codes and those two lenses arent listed.. which 50 mm template should I use?? Many thanks! tobey bilek Posted May 11, 2012 Share #2 Posted May 11, 2012 I would code them as the oldest 50 2.0 lens in the data base. Then use Corner Fix to touch them up if necessary. I find CF necessary for perfection even if the lens is factory coded. Be sure to establish a CF profile for each stop F2 to F8.
