iphoenix Posted May 26, 2012 Share #81 Posted May 26, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Trying to be helpful, I asked "Instamatic?". Too many people I've spoken with, thought "Instamatic" was Polaroid.
Advertisement Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Hi iphoenix, Take a look here What's the goofiest thing someone has said about your film M (or about film)?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ismon Posted May 26, 2012 Share #82 Posted May 26, 2012 We live in an jnstant gratification world. I know of several people who think you just take the film out of your Rollie, and in a "dark" room simply separate the film from the paper roll and cut it into prints ! That's faster than Polaroid. antistatic Posted May 27, 2012 Share #83 Posted May 27, 2012 I'm just waiting for the screw on wireless transmitter that scans and downloads the files to your mobile device, the Rolleiwifi.
tobey bilek Posted May 27, 2012 Share #84 Posted May 27, 2012 Had my Zone VI 4x5 view camera in an upscale neighborhood and one resident waited until I emerged from the dark cloth and asked me if that thing actually worked. I assured here it worked really well.
pico Posted May 27, 2012 Share #85 Posted May 27, 2012 Had my Zone VI 4x5 view camera in an upscale neighborhood and one resident waited until I emerged from the dark cloth and asked me if that thing actually worked. I assured here it worked really well. I read once where a view camera photographer showed the image on the ground glass and the curious observer commented upon the upside-down image. The photographer muttered, "Yeah, I gotta get around to fixing that." Perhaps that was you.
Messsucherkamera Posted May 28, 2012 Author Share #86 Posted May 28, 2012 I read once where a view camera photographer showed the image on the ground glass and the curious observer commented upon the upside-down image. The photographer muttered, "Yeah, I gotta get around to fixing that." Perhaps that was you. My Deardorff 5x7 does the same thing. Does anyone know of a reputable view camera repair shop who can fix that? :D:D
