atournas Posted April 22, 2012 Share #1 Posted April 22, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I assume most M users are already doing this, but in order to regularly work out the rarely used slow speeds (1s, 1/2, etc. up to 1/15) on my M6, every time I load a film, I forward it up to frame "1" by releasing the shutter at those speeds only. spydrxx Posted April 22, 2012 Share #2 Posted April 22, 2012 Actually a Leica repairman once told me that the best way to do this was with the camera empty (he suggested doing it while watching tv) shoot about 5-6 shots at every speed both ascending and descending, once each month.
