100 year old Leicas

We're not that far off a production model Leica will be 100 years old. I have a 1936 IIIa that I use regularly, which will reach it's centenary thirty years before I reach mine (if spared). Alarmingly, we're only 24 years away from that and 24 years ago it was 1988, which is recent memory for those of us that were there at the time.

My IIIa is a relatively mature model compared to others: which is likely to be the Leica in modern usage that is likely to reach this milestone first? (ie excluding the Ur-Leicas and models which are by now too historical for common use)

It's a bit early to start celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Leica as we know it. But, Leitz did make cameras before the "Leica" (the Leitz Moment Camera from around 1905, for example), so there's always something worth getting the champagne out for :)
