StephenPatterson Posted April 2, 2012 Share #21 Â Posted April 2, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Get a 50 Summilux ASPH. Just like it's cousin, the 35 Summilux ASPH FLE, the 50 is a lens with a magical quality. These two are special... Â Shoot with the 35 and 50 for six months, then you will know which wide and which tele you really want.
Advertisement Posted April 2, 2012 Posted April 2, 2012 Hi StephenPatterson, Take a look here Can't wait much longer for add to the kit!!. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Lord Fluff Posted April 2, 2012 Share #22 Â Posted April 2, 2012 Lars - you are absolutely right - when he first posted about having inherited a kit including a 50 Summicron, and many of us advised him to play with that first, he went out within days and bought an M9 and a 35 Lux FLE. Â Edward - clearly you're enjoying your camera - I would venture it makes no difference which lens you buy, and of which length. There are no bad Leica lenses, so just buy as many as you want, as it seems you are keen to explore your hobby and aren't limited financially.
