sohcsleeper Posted March 28, 2012 Author Share #21 Â Posted March 28, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I prefer mine pure, just the way it left the manufacturing line and was released by Leica's QC. No crutches or band-aids. Â Its only a disability if you look at it that way, I see it more as an enhancement

Any ideas? I saw Tenba makes a Tenba Discovery Top load."Â You might look at such as the top load KATA DC-433. It fits everything in a neat padded arrangement., ie camera, kiwi adapter, lens, viewfinder, also room for spare batteries and sd cards. It can be held by hand, on a belt or carried on your shoulder. Enjoy your camera ______________________ Regards, Ian
chaimemet Posted March 30, 2012 Share #23 Â Posted March 30, 2012 Ian, Thanks for the tip. I looked at a Kata larger one at Dales, it was way too deep, built for a "Hoogie" or a 200mm zoom not a minimulist Leica X1. I have a A&A messenger bag but with the VOF attached it does not fit easy for quick removal. It is obvious you can not buy a case without actually fitting it on site. I do believe that is seems the narrower messenger or top loaded designs are better suited for day trips.
