Guest sirvine Posted March 15, 2007 Share #81 Â Posted March 15, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sandy, Â Lightroom's NR definitely has a light touch, which is a good thing. If you want to flatten out any substantial noise, though, 100% in LR isn't going to do it. You need Noise Ninja for that.
albertknappmd Posted March 15, 2007 Share #82 Â Posted March 15, 2007 what a great tutorial. i will be getting LR soon as I am still using Camera RAW. Is the LR program now fully debugged by Adobe and is everyone out there in Forumland happy with it? If so, I will get it ASAP. Thanks, Albert:)
newyorkone Posted March 23, 2007 Share #83 Â Posted March 23, 2007 Albert, I have been using it for about a week. Pretty stable to me. No crashes yet...fingers crossed. Take care.
bill_green Posted April 25, 2007 Share #84 Â Posted April 25, 2007 Has anyone looked at how Bibble, Lightroom and Raw Developer stack up?
eronald Posted April 25, 2007 Share #85 Â Posted April 25, 2007 Has anyone looked at how Bibble, Lightroom and Raw Developer stack up? Â I can do profiles for Raw Developer if people want to use it. I like that program a lot. Â Edmund

sps Posted April 26, 2007 Share #87 Â Posted April 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry to come late to the party, but I'm curious. On my monitor the LR processed images seem considerably sharper and more detailed in the face than the C1 images. I can see pore detail in one much more than in the other. Â Do you see this too? Guest guy_mancuso Posted April 26, 2007 Share #88 Â Posted April 26, 2007 Just a update this is a fairly old thread and the firmware has changed but still a good reference point. I would like to actually do this again once things settle done with 1.102 and some newer profiles. I have some studio stuff coming up with some high school girls with great skintones that would be good for this , there friends of my daughters that want me to do there senior pictures instead of the hired ones the school does. So i am setting up 20 in a day with hair and makeup artists. So once i get that shot it will be a great source of images for a Raw convertor test again since it will be all controlled light.
