leicamann Posted March 25, 2012 Share #3  Posted March 25, 2012 The 50 lux is a beautiful lens, but for this kind of photography you will need to start at 135mm and up.. especially for the birds.  Some of the shots are colourful , but need work , some are oversaturated. Remember that digital images, even from an M9 will have certain "issues" that will need to be corrected in Photoshop.  Thanks for sharing   Cheers,JRM
MEB Posted March 25, 2012 Author Share #4 Â Posted March 25, 2012 JRM Â Thanks for the comments. I agree that a longer lens would have helped When I am planning for this type of shooting, I have a Nikon D3 with a 200mm lens. Here, I never expected to see such a collection of birds and I don't normally carry the Nikon on a long day because it needs it's own set of wheels! Â I also agree with your point about the saturation. I will pay closer attention ( and use my NEC monitor for adjustments rather than my MacBook Pro screen) next time. I just got lazy this time. Â I always appreciate constructive observations. Thanks. Â Mark

Well with the Telyt 560 , DMR/ R9 and all..you need to be a professional weightlifter .    Cheers, JRM
