One e-mail was all it took for them to put aside two Heliopan IR-cut filters for me, no questions asked, no payment required. A week later, I gave them one phone call just to confirm a friend would come and pick up the filters for me this Saturday, and all was said. I have my two 39 filters, and in black as I ordered. No fuss, no trouble, just as promised. Great people. Thanks, Tamarkin. Â Now, if Leica can just ship the complimentary B+W 486 in 43 and 46 I ordered by fax a month ago... Guest guy_mancuso Posted March 2, 2007 Share #9 Â Posted March 2, 2007 It's interesting that there are some great leica dealers out ther becuase when i owned Canon and Nikon it was the more mail order shops folks would talk about with less personal service and just shipped the stuff out , With the Leica dealers like Popflash, Camera West , Tamarkin, Dale Labs, Phot Village and others you really run into folks that actually care about you as a customer and are there to help. i find that very refreshing in this mail order world there still are great brick and mortar places and there prices are still in the mail order range. I mean i used B&H for 30 years and i do like them very much but i much rather buy my M8 for the same money at these places because they talk and help you, plus you feel like your money is putting food on there table and it feels good.
