frankwaller Posted April 16, 2012 Share #24 Posted April 16, 2012 Think the CV15 is a safe well trod path with the M8 - I didn't find it wide enough as compared to my 28 cron. Fortunate to have the opportunity to briefly try a WATE on my M8 - lovely lens (aren't they all) but, I found the incremental focal lengths were close and appeared too similar. The experienced WATE owner talked me out of buying his lens and recommended I pick up a CV12 - this I did and quite literally - what a cheap thrill ! Er, don't come across too many of those at my age :-D Ultimate IQ isn't missing, it was just never there; but it's harmless fun which now serves as a reminder as to why I pay the dollar for Leica glass, enjoy Frank.
