jtharvie Posted July 18, 2006 Share #1 Posted July 18, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is our latest stucture to link the city of Winnipeg with Old St. Boniface the traditionaly Franco / Metis side of the Red River and home of the original "Free Traders". It is a combination foot bridge / restaurant which has proven to be quite popular except in January (-40C tends to keep folk away from anything that requires more than a quick dash from the car). Taken from the middle of the Red River on one of the River Taxi's that operate in the Summer. LC-1 RAW with PSC2 tinkering and slight CW rotation of 1 degree

ddh Posted July 18, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 18, 2006 John, what a delightful town Winnipeg is. I was there briefly(24 hours) in 2002 and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will have to go back to see that new bridge and restaurant. Nice picture. Thanks for sharing.
