Allen in Montreal Posted February 17, 2012 Share #21 Posted February 17, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) @ Double Negative I work for a large daily newspaper, Apple will not give us the names of the users of our iPhone app. Apple feels they are clients of Apple, and we just generate content that Apple customers may or may not choose to purchase. As much as I have a few issues with Massive app, they are not bullshitting when they say Apple will not release the names of app users.

I got an email back from DT as well saying essentially the same. I guess it is what it is. Doesn't lessen the bad taste in my mouth though. And being that the old version still works and does what I need, I won't be buying the app again (at $8.99 currently). So who does this hurt in the end? DT, as it's not gonna be me.
