R.Julian-Huxley Posted February 26, 2007 Share #1 Β Posted February 26, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) This thread is for Leica V-Lux 1 owners. There is a annoying problem with this fine camera. The Panasonic FZ50 had the same problem which I also own. On some occasions when you turn the camera on and flip the LCD screen out to 90 degrees the screen does not always boot up. The problem lies with the software and the hall detector in the flip. I contacted Panasonic and they corrected the problem in about 3 weeks by sending me a SD card with a firmware upgrade. I have approached Leica UK and they just seem to treat me as if I am barking mad. Seeing as both cameras are made by Panasonic it should be so easy for Leica to obtain from Panasonic the same firmware fix, but to recognise the V-Lux 1. Would appreciate any positive feedback on this. Best RJ-H
