alred Posted January 17, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted January 17, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I sent my Leica X1 to NJ to have the sensor cleaned there was a dust spot that was pretty visible at f8. Repair Estimate says that the lens assembly and ccd will be replaced gezz I though they would clean the sensor and send it back to me.Camera is in warranty and should have in back Feb 7.Anyway just want to pass this along I was pleased with the service, in the mean time I`ll use the x100. I had two dust spots on my sensor, so I figured I'd send it to NJ to be cleaned. Well, I got it back with 21 smaller dust spots. The second go-round got the new lens and ccd installed.
