Re: 75mm Summarit is excepationally good as stated previously, the focal length is under loved as is 24mm when shooting Leica. To answer your question, Reid Reviews may be a good source for comparison, he is thorough in his evaluation with a similar shooting style as yours. Although you state you're not looking for perfection an excellent starting point in lens evaluation are mtf curves, there is much hidden information there. Unfortunately, Voigtlander doesn't publish these but if you read user evaluations on this forum and couple that with older Leica lens data you could then get a good idea of its curves. Then, simply compare these to Nikon and Canon. I agree with your use of less than perfect glass, those optical aberrations can be assets as much as liabilities.
