hogar Posted January 9, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 9, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello! I'm a pretty new owner of leica, since last summer and I already had to sent it to germany for repair, it came with a problem in lenses, now I got it back thinking everthing is ok, but a vertical pink light started to show on my display while focusing. Usually when there's artificial light but outside on a sunny day too, it also appears on some pictures. Is there any help, i don't know what to do? Advertisement Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Hi hogar, Take a look here D-lux 5 pink light on photos and display . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
mjh Posted January 9, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 9, 2012 It’s called ‘smearing’ and is a well-known phenomenon that is typical for the type CCD sensor used in the D-Lux 5. It won’t show up in still images, just on the display and in movies. All compact cameras with CCD sensors show this effect to some degree; it is just something we have to live with.
