smokemeister25 Posted January 8, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 8, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) i have a DLUX-5 and i'd like to try using it with a Meopta S1 spotting scope. does anyone know if the Digiscoping scope mount that leica sells and that threads on the front of the camera will work with a Meopta? i'm not sure about whether the digiscoping mount will fit over the eyepiece of the Meopta. if anybody knows i'd appreciate a reply about it. also, will a spotting scope have a quality that's in anyway acceptable? the scope its self i've always thought was pretty darn decent quality. i've used it mostly for target shooting but found it very clear. spotting scopes i've tried that belong to other people usually aren't nearly as good and i've never tried one i thought was actually a lot better. i admit i've never tried the leitz but i have looked through a swarovski and a zeiss and didn't find that they did a noticably better job of seeing .22 caliber holes at 100 yards in paper targets. i'm mostly interested in just general fun use but wondered if the mount would fit and if i could expect decent results with the baby digital (which at times i find makes outstanding quality... ) and the Meopta. thanks for anybodys help les
