Advertisement Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Hi wattsy, Take a look here Digital Rev?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
MikeEvangelist Posted January 5, 2012 Share #62 Â Posted January 5, 2012 Just to 'second' your opinion that they are excellent. (I edited the post to clarify.)
artspraken Posted January 5, 2012 Share #63  Posted January 5, 2012 Why do you trust DigitalRev if these people paint their M9 pink?  Honestly, i don't think they are in the business of selling cameras. Instead they are in the business of eyeball revenue. Hence the cheap stunts on youtube. Oh wait, painting M9 pink is an expensive stunt   Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
billib Posted January 5, 2012 Share #64 Â Posted January 5, 2012 My purchase with B&H had been negative. I no longer do business with them because of so many other great retailers, Helix, Adorama, J&R, Amazon.
Deliberate1 Posted January 6, 2012 Share #65 Â Posted January 6, 2012 I am the one disputed the equation between B&H and Digital Rev given my experiencce with both. Case in point. I ordered the Summilux last Sunday from DigRev and never heard anything more from them, despite repeated requests, until they confirmed the cancellation of my order today - which I expect they were waiting for. Yesterday, I spied a single Zeiss 35mm Biogon ZM on B&H, offered at the mfg retail price. I bought it. It shipped yesterday. I will have it tomorrow. Mr. Thompson Posted January 6, 2012 Share #66 Â Posted January 6, 2012 I have had only one order from Digital Rev, a Nex5n viewfinder. It took about eight days to arrive. On the other hand I could have bought a house with the money spent at B&H over the years. I absolutely love their customer service. Speaking of which, Howard is the best, listens to vinyl through tubes and only shoots slide film. Doesn't get any better than that .
StephenPatterson Posted January 6, 2012 Share #67 Â Posted January 6, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Why don't you email them the link to this thread? Reinforce the so-well-deserved bad press amongst a strong Leica community which has now had over 1600 hits and rising. Â Thanks Mark for the suggestion. I sent DigitalRev an email last evening, with a link to this thread. Hopefully they will see how their idiotic pricing and ordering policy is hurting their reputation with this group.
