arthury Posted June 24, 2006 Share #1 Posted June 24, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thot I share why I have been quiet these days ... occupied I guess ... around and around we go ... with the Wankel rotary engine ... in some ways it has some German DNA in there. Advertisement Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Hi arthury, Take a look here My new Commuter Device. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
abrewer Posted June 24, 2006 Share #2 Posted June 24, 2006 Very nice ride there, Arthur. That car has never gotten the acclaim it deserves, IMO. BTW, your avatar looks very enticing. Any chance I can persuade you to post it fullsize in the Landscape section soon? Thanks. Allan
arthury Posted June 24, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted June 24, 2006 Thanks, Allan, it's a somewhat unusual car aiming at a niche market rather than the masses. But, anyone looking around for a roadster should test drive this little car. Because of the mid-engine mount, the stability of the car is a true pleasure when you go on a really twisty road. I tested the Honda S2000, Porsche Boxter and the RX-8 on twisty roads and the handling are about the same but the sound of the rotary at high RPM sold me. Of course, the little test from the Brits' Top Gear TV show helped, too. http://www.car2max.com/video/Top%20Gear%20-%20Mazda%20RX8.wmv About that avatar, I'll try to post it some time later. Cheers, Arthur
