fjmcsu Posted February 22, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted February 22, 2007 Very eerie to me but like the shot. The "mood" is certainly present.Just received a Noctilux a few days ago & ready to try it as soon as work permits. Thanks for posting the image:eek:
innerimager Posted February 22, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted February 22, 2007 Thanks you Francisco. I am just scratching the surface (of this lens and photography for sure). I'm really trying to develop the sense of how this (and other) lenses "draw" as Sean and others say and try and use that for expression. The noctilux is so "itself", worth getting to know him (?her)...see, don't know the lens yet at all! best....Peter

BerndReini Posted February 22, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted February 22, 2007 Just curious, I see that the focus is on the eye further away from camera. Was this done intentionally? the reason I am sking is because I just tested two noctiluxes on my M8, and both of them backfocused by about an inch, while my other lenses are all dead on. innerimager Posted February 22, 2007 Author Share #6 Â Posted February 22, 2007 I can say I focused on an eye and reframed, not for sure which one! My impression has been it's focus is on, I'll look more closely at this however....Peter
