johnbuckley Posted February 21, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted February 21, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Long title, but here's the real question: I responded to Mr. Lee's nice 30% discount on a lens -- took the WATE plus finder -- about five weeks ago. Sent the letter with all requested documentation to Solms, as requested. But I believe I was supposed to have gotten some kind of confirmation that they had received the request. Since sending it, I've heard nothing at all. Have any others in the U.S. been informed that Leica has their request? Better yet, has anyone received a lens? The order form does state that my credit card will be charged when the lens ships so I have been monitoring my on-line statements waiting for the charge to appear. It has not yet appeared. I also have not received any confirmation. Â I ordered a 35MM Summilux. I'm curious what others ordered (to someone's earlier point: specific lens availability may be the primary factor in determining of timing of confirm & order).
