Determining Shutter Actuations on an X1

Hey guys, I have tried all night using exif viewer and also jefferey's.. but can't seems to find the unique image number.. can you guys please help me?

 

i am a newbie here, i bought my first leica today x1, it was a cabinet display model!! SA says they only got one in the shop...

 

he said no picture has been taken and only arrived last wednesday!

 

need to find out whats the shutter actuations is on my leica x1..

I wish I knew the answer! I assume from the lack of replies to the post that nobody does. I bought my X1 on eBay and love it but would like to know how much it had been used before I bought it.

 

Some techno person out there must be able to divulge the secret.....

kenneth, Welcome to the Forum!

I bought my X1 new so it never occurred to me to consider how many test exposures had been made. So far as I can recall, this question has never arisen. But you might search the Digital Forum where I know a similar question did arise with respect to the Leica Digilux 2 and the answer posted. It required a combination of key presses not listed in the instruction manual.

Just my opinion, but what's the problem with images in a discussion if they enhance the thread? Seems quite restrictive to me...:confused:
