Coots feeding

Well, I took the Telyt 400mm last Friday, plus the leica 2x convertor and the Panasonic GH2. Winter is here, temperatures around the freezing point, cloudy skies, and few birds.

 

There were some coots around:

One of them decided herbs were not good enough:

I shot another bird that made me feel silly once I arrived home and checked the web for info about it. It is a muscovy duck, a wild species in America but used here to make foie! Probably the duck escaped from some farm around....

Jose,

 

Marvelous shots. I especially like the one having the connoisseurs meal of frog legs. Very good composition, colors and sharpness as well as great timing.
