Advertisement Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Hi Guest guy_mancuso, Take a look here M8 and Grip. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jrc Posted February 21, 2007 Share #22 Â Posted February 21, 2007 I have the Leica hard grip, and I like it okay, but I will have to say, that Luigi case is a handsome thing, especially with the chrome finish on the M8. Â JC
B&W Posted February 21, 2007 Share #23  Posted February 21, 2007 I have the Leica grip, but I seldom use it. It feels good in use but I can’t decide if I like it or not.  Luigi cases are stunning, I had one for a R-D1 but I felt it added several mm to the camera because of the heavy leather. hammam Posted February 22, 2007 Share #24 Â Posted February 22, 2007 I've had quick look at the M8 grip at my dealer's and didn't like it one bit. It's big, bulky and downright ugly. No style. No design to speak of. Even uglier when mounted on the camera. Why couldn't they at least design it on the same lines as the grip for film Ms? Also, I think it defeats the purpose of the whole small and clean rangefinder concept. Finally, it's ridiculously expensive. A real Leica accessory. At least Luigi's cases are a thing of beauty. And not much more expensive. Â YMMV
