volkerhopf Posted February 20, 2007 Share #1 Β Posted February 20, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Today I had my first success with a large 4GB SD card. After trying the RIDATA silver 150 speed - dead - can't be used anywhere anymore, 1GB Sandisk Ultra II - it jumps at me after 2 seconds in the SD slot ( and so does the Toshiba) I thought I reduce my losses and by a no name 150 speed 4GB card from Taiwan branded A data Turba SD. It was cheap for Australian standard A$ 86.00. I formatted it straight away in the camera and it has sofar survived several ingestions using Photo Mechanic and several formats. So with a little bit of luck I might have a source for cards. Only one drawback sofar. My buildt in SD card reader in the Toshiba can't read it, but I use the Lexar jump drive successfully. For Australian readers the A data can be bought at "Cheap Memory Australia" Regards Volker
