Guest sterlinstarlin Posted December 18, 2011 Share #21 Posted December 18, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Well put sdk. My M7 has a .58 viewfinder as well. Really wish my MP was as fortunate. Yeah the M7 is probably the best M out there. I really don't understand why so many people take up issue with this body. The shutter is more accurate, quiet. You're able to shoot between stock shutter speeds, hence even more accurate exposures. It's just a great film body. Wonderful meter. The flash potential is incredible. But then a lot of Leica purists don't use flash. Instead they'll throw a Noctilux on an M9.
Advertisement Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Hi Guest sterlinstarlin, Take a look here M6 or M7. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pico Posted December 18, 2011 Share #22 Posted December 18, 2011 M7 - it is quite a functional advance from the M6, but enlargements are not better than the M9. You want better, shoot 6x*cm or larger.
jhild Posted December 18, 2011 Share #23 Posted December 18, 2011 I had about the same M6 or M7 "problem" some time ago, reading all the complaints about the M7´s electronics I choose a M6TTL which meanwhile has got some companions, too. I´m very happy with that decision, I don´t depend on batterie power or electronic reliability. None of these cameras takes better shots as the other, that´s all down to the eye behind the viewfinder.
